If you require comfort, quality, privacy, style and something out of the ordinary then come and stay with us. We are in a wonderful peaceful village location just 10 minutes drive from the most scenic part of Hadrian's Wall.

We have enhanced the character of the rooms with pitch pine floors, beamed ceilings, antique oak headboards and a stone fireplace for our custom built wood burning stove. All this plus mod cons.

Dehlia's flair for design and John's quirky collecting nature are reflected in the decoration and range of artefacts in the rooms. Whilst at Montcoffer visit Dehlia's Studio and see her impressive hand-made quilts, wall hangings and other decorative items.

You can choose to stay in either the Barnard bedroom with its beautiful half-tester style bed head and art deco bathroom, or the grand Ridley room with its imposing oak bed head and roomy walk-in shower room.

Breakfast is taken in the old foaling room which is warmed by the fire on cold mornings. The horses have long gone so you can enjoy a relaxed start to the day selecting from our wide range of breakfast options.

For your evening meal you may like to walk to the village pub, only 100 metres from our door. We want you to feel at home so if you need anything just walk across the courtyard, ring the bell on the house and we will offer you assistance.
