This fabulous apartment occupies the top floor of historic Craster Tower, a superbly preserved 15thC country house, built around a 14thC Pele Tower. Refurbished to the highest standard, the apartment is elegantly furnished, with stunning views. Spacious rooms retain many original features including decorative coving, ornate fireplaces and a fine Venetian chandelier in the drawing room.

Accommodation consists of: (ground floor) entrance hall, utility room and wc; and (upper floor) sitting room with log burning stove; kitchen/diner; children's TV room; master bedroom with king-size bed; one double bedroom; two twin-bed rooms; shower room; family bathroom with shower; second bathroom; large gallery with reading area; drawing room.

The picturesque village of Craster is a short walk down a footpath, through woods and fields. The tiny horseshoe-shaped harbour was built to commemorate a member of the Craster family, associated with the area since the 12th century. The fishing industry is still the mainstay of the village economy. Nowadays, crabs and lobsters are the chief catch and the smokehouse, run by the Robson family since 1905, produces the famous Craster kippers. Enjoy exhilarating coastal walks past dramatic scenery, including to the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are 7 miles, with Warkworth Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the Farne Islands and the Cheviot Hills within easy reach. Superb beaches offer sand-yachting at Bamburgh, jet-skiing at Beadnell and castle-building at Embleton. Outstanding opportunities for ramblers and bird watchers. Five golf courses within 20 minutes drive.
